Abstract Submission

Submission Important Dates

  • Submission Deadline*: 15 July 2026
    *Abstracts submitted after the system closure will not be accepted.
  • Notification for Abstract Acceptance:  15 August 2026

Presentation Types

Oral Presentation: it takes 10-15 minutes (10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A)

E-Poster: This is the size of an e-poster 1080x1920 pixels, vertical orientation. Design software: create the design using design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva
**The abstract submitted for oral presentation may be accepted as a poster presentation, depending on the available time slot.

Open Topics/Tracks

Submissions should be aligned with the "Stronger Together" theme and cover the following topics:

  1. Leadership management cost-effective: Team and workforce management
  2. Innovation & technology data-driven care: The application of AI, robotics, or digital health in surgery
  3. Patient safety quality excellence infection control: Safety standards and risk management in the operating room
  4. Perioperative education & training: Teaching and training of perioperative nurse
  5. Sustainability (Green OR): Environmental management and sustainability in operating rooms

Abstract Guidelines

Language: Must be English only

  • Word count: The body of the text must not exceed 300-350 words
  • Structure:
    • Background: The importance and origin of the problem
    • Objectives: Objectives of the study/project
    • Methods: Research methodology or innovation model
    • Results: Performance results (must be supported by clear empirical data or statistics)
    • Conclusion: Summary and applications in perioperative nursing care 
  • Title: Concise, clear, and no more than 20-25 words. Avoid using non-standard abbreviations


**ONE presenter can submit only ONE abstract, either for oral or poster presentation.

Review criteria originality: The work is original and has not been previously published elsewhere. 

  • Relevance: It is relevant to the perioperative nursing content and the theme of the event 
  • Scientific quality: It is academically sound and well-designed
  • Clarity: The language and communication are clear

Notice of Acceptance

Notification will be sent to the presenter only via email by 15 August 2026

If you do not receive any notification by 15 August 2026, please contact asiorna2026@gmail.com. The presenter is required to pay the registration fee payment to have the abstract published in the abstract book (or e-book). Should the author not follow either of these, ASIORNA 2026 reserves the right not to include the author’s work in the abstract e-book.
